We will be staying at El Pueblito Resort, located in one of the best beaches
in Cancunís Hotel Zone, is the perfect enclosure combining a traditional Mexican atmosphere with the vanguard and ecological development of a cosmopolitan environment. The colonial style architecture and traditional activities will make you live the experience of a Mexican atmosphere in the Caribbean.
The 350 rooms are distributed in 29 colonial villas decorated with typical Mexican style elements with an ocean, pool, lagoon or garden view.
Our beach is one of the most beautiful of the Hotel Zone, for itís size, cleanness and whiteness, also for being a temporal sea turtles nest and because it is considered a great tourist and ecological attraction in the Caribbean.
The five pools and cascades provide a calm environment in itís upper part and nonstop fun in the main pool.

Between Dry Tortugas and Key West

On our last trip to Cancun, We went on a drift dive called Turtle Alley.  I was surprised at how many turtles there were.  We saw over 15. Megan thinks she saw over 20.  The diving was great.  Drift diving is very relaxing but not the best for taking pictures.  We drifted by most of the turtles too fast.
We also saw a Nurse shark and I was able to see a small reef shark.  One of the dives was entertaining, to say the least.  Our Mexican "Wana-be-DiveMaster" wasn't the best .  He scared a small shark away and then traumatized a puffer fish.  He caught a small cow fish and we took a few pictures of it before I asked him put it back.

Parrot Island is a state of mind.
